| Gaga Fandom: | So Dot is made of the first, second, and fifth letters of Dorothy, so the shortened version of Red Lipstick is Rei, and since REI is an outdoors equipment store I think we can predict that the video for Gaga's new single this year will be filmed outside. It's likely that the single will be from her new album, but it is also possible that it will be an extended/remixed version of Dance In The Dark, due to the references to Judy Garland and Dorothy in both the song and the recent tweets. Because of the fact that Dot tweeted about Born This Way before the song was released, we can infer that Dance in the Dark is likely due to the fact that it is a past song, and the new album and video for the new single will likely be in the fashion of THe Fame or The Fame Monster, or deal with past events and time travel. The "eclipse" references point to the same theme mentioned by Gaga herself: that all stars fall, and eventually replaced--eclipsed by another. The death threats issued to Gaga by the Indonesian terrorists continue with the new theme of mortality, and Gaga's refusal to tone down her show fits well with her Born This Way era theme of being yourself. The picture of the unpainted lipstick gun represents a new era in its beginning stages, and the combination of this and the Red Lipstick comments lead one to believe that Judas is being referenced also, perhaps due to its controversial repercussions in the beginning stages of the Born This Way Ball, once again, mortality. The new album will be focused on death, the fall of a star, and the replacement of the popular. |
